It Started With One Question, Asked a Thousand Times

Every Sunday, our kitchen smelled of warm coconut oil. Our grandmother would set a small steel pan on a low flame, warm cold-pressed coconut oil with a little sweet almond oil, and let it steep until the whole house carried the scent of it.
